Fall Arrest Equipment Course
Designed for anyone already using fall arrest equipment as a part of their job or is new to the use of fall arrest equipment. In this program we will be discussing the safety value and common sense reason for fall arrest training, the components of a fall arrest system, as well as, the inspection and proper use of the equipment, therein.
The fall arrest course is a combination of formal classroom instruction and practical hands-on instruction on the use of the fall arrest equipment . Upon successful completion of this program a wall certificate and wallet card and all necessary paperwork for company records for each participant will be issued as proof of training.
4 Hours Classroom Instruction: Approximately
- Relevant OSHA regulations and ANSI rules concerning fall arrest training

Why Our Fall Arrest Protection Training Sets the Standard
The Critical Role of OSHA-Compliant Fall Arrest Protection Training
Falls consistently rank as one of the “Fatal Four” leading causes of workplace fatalities. Under OSHA 29 CFR 1910.140 for General Industry and 1926 Subpart M for Construction, any employee exposed to fall hazards must receive formal Fall Arrest Protection Training. Our program goes beyond basic awareness to ensure that every worker can identify fall hazards and properly utilize personal fall arrest systems (PFAS). By investing in our Fall Arrest Protection Training, you protect your team from heights and protect your business from the severe legal and financial consequences of fall-related incidents.
Detailed Components of Fall Arrest Protection Training
Our Fall Arrest Protection Training focuses on the “ABC’s” of fall safety, Anchorage, Body Support, and Connecting Means:
- Equipment Inspection & Selection: We teach workers how to identify wear, tear, and “deployment” indicators in harnesses, lanyards, and anchorage points, a fundamental skill in Fall Arrest Protection Training.
- Calculating Fall Clearance: Participants learn to calculate total fall distance, including deceleration distance and safety factors, to ensure an operator doesn’t strike a lower level during a fall.
- The Physics of a Fall: Our Fall Arrest Protection Training emphasizes swing fall hazards and the forces exerted on the body during an arrest, highlighting why proper fit and tie-off points are non-negotiable.
Rescue & Recovery Mastery Through Fall Arrest Protection Training
A fall is only half the emergency; the other half is the rescue. Our Fall Arrest Protection Training includes critical post-fall protocols:
- Suspension Trauma Prevention: Understanding the physiological risks of hanging in a harness and the “relief” techniques that can save a worker’s life while waiting for rescue.
- Developing a Rescue Plan: Every site must have a plan for “prompt rescue.” Our Fall Arrest Protection Training helps you develop these procedures so that your team knows exactly how to respond when a fall occurs.
- Standard Hand Signals & Communication: Ensuring clear communication between the worker at height and the ground crew, a core requirement of effective Fall Arrest Protection Training.

Looking to integrate your fall protection with other technical certifications?
- Aerial Work Platform Operator Training: Fall protection is mandatory for most aerial lift operations, making this the most frequent “bundle” for construction and maintenance crews.
- Confined Spaces Safety Training: Essential for teams using tripods and winches to enter vertical spaces where fall risks are present.
- Mobile Crane Operator Safety Training: Crucial for riggers and operators working on or near large-scale lifting equipment at height.
- 30-Hour Construction Safety: A comprehensive supervisor-level deep dive that includes the full spectrum of OSHA Subpart M requirements.
